We think we know what sin is, resembled by religion and parental figures as a tormenting finger in our face… daily, by the hour, by the second… Self-effort accusations of analysis and shame, etc… Pictures and fateful lies of being a slimy-dog-worm, a popper, unfit and unworthy… but for the love and grace of Christ, that you subconsciously feel like you have to earn or payback… Trading into the lie of society that nothing’s “free” honey! But, could it be that once an apple always an apple that doesn’t fall far from the tree…? I’m not talking about Adam here or Eve. To know your identity, your real identity is key!
What if sin is found in the disorientation of separation, losing direction from the source and tree of life-giving eternity…? Continue reading “Could your definition of SIN be faulty? It might not be exactly what you think…by Amy Meyer”
On our journey with God, we travel in a paradox of strengths and vulnerabilities. We have New Man perceptions and mindsets that are growing stronger and old patterns of thinking that are being renewed. And sometimes, they collide in ways that we didn’t see coming.

1 God of Heaven’s Armies, you find so much beauty in your people!
They’re like lovely sanctuaries of your presence.
2 Deep within me are these lovesick longings,
desires and daydreams of living in union with you.
When I’m near you my heart and my soul

my true source and spring of life!

enjoying you as they worship in your presence!
Pause in his presence Continue reading “Longing for God… Psalms 84 (tpt)”
So often in Christianity, we throw out the baby with the bathwater. It seems we’re so afraid of being deceived that we just throw it all out; “cleansing the temple” of everything, just to be “safe”. If we were living back in Jesus day, would we have been guilty of throwing Christ out then too, as a baby, just because he didn’t come the way we thought or were programmed to believe? Would we have been like the Pharisee with our small boxed heads of belief and limit God’s ability and wisdom to do something different? Would we have rejected Christ as unclean, and not a King because He wasn’t born within the four walls of our belief?
He says, All things have no comparison to following Me. Allow Me as your good shepherd, to lead you always, to green pastures. Let your love and security rest in My provision and faithfulness. Think bigger and keep following Me. Get comfortable with Mystery. Embrace it as a delight, like a surprise, like a gift from Daddy. Part of being childlike and having childlike faith is the pleasure and enjoyment of surprises and mystery. Embrace it. Adults lose their faith and tend to control their environments, due to pain and misunderstandings. Children, on the other hand, embrace surprise and wonder and enjoy its reward. They are drawn towards it and secure with it. Become childlike again in your faith with Me. Allow Me to heal the areas where you thought I wasn’t a good Father…
