“OVERFLOW” Word from the Lord… by Amy Meyer

Word from the Lord…..

More than enough is what I promise…I am more than enough for all who will drink from Me. Are you tired worn out from trying to get things your own way? Come to Me, enter My green pastures and I will fill you and give you rest.

All who enter, enter by faith. You can not enter through the door of your reason and logic. You will hit a wall and question My existence. The door appears when your faith does the walking.

Come, enter in and sit at My table. Are you thirsty? Really thirsty? Then lend Me your cup so I can fill it full! Remove anything else that would try and fill that cup. Aren’t you tired of drinking in your own ideas and ways? Try mine and be fully blessed and restored. My drink is life forever more!
Receive My counsel as we sip together…

Could your definition of SIN be faulty? It might not be exactly what you think…by Amy Meyer

44991ea9fac64ef715260c47f8438aefWe think we know what sin is, resembled by religion and parental figures as a tormenting finger in our face… daily, by the hour, by the second… Self-effort accusations of analysis and shame, etc… Pictures and fateful lies of being a slimy-dog-worm, a popper, unfit and unworthy… but for the love and grace of Christ, that you subconsciously feel like you have to earn or payback… Trading into the lie of society that nothing’s “free” honey! But, could it be that once an apple always an apple that doesn’t fall far from the tree…? I’m not talking about Adam here or Eve. To know your identity, your real identity is key!

What if sin is found in the disorientation of separation, losing direction from the source and tree of life-giving eternity…? Continue reading “Could your definition of SIN be faulty? It might not be exactly what you think…by Amy Meyer”

Longing for God… Psalms 84 (tpt)

This will undue you when you read it and picture the reality of it! It will cause you to throw your arms around God full heartedly and encounter His amazing LOVE entangled with yours!  -Amy <3  heaven_by_gabrielleragusi-d62cak7

God of Heaven’s Armies, you find so much beauty in your people!
They’re like lovely sanctuaries of your presence.
Deep within me are these lovesick longings,
desires and daydreams of living in union with you.
When I’m near you my heart and my soul
will sing and worship with my joyful songs of you,
my true source and spring of life!

O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God,
even the sparrows and swallows are welcome to build a nest
among your altars for the birds to raise their young.
What pleasure fills those who live every day in your temple,
enjoying you as they worship in your presence!
Pause in his presence Continue reading “Longing for God… Psalms 84 (tpt)”

Throwing out the bathwater, but what about the baby?….by Amy Meyer

So often in Christianity, we throw out the baby with the bathwater. It seems we’re so afraid of being deceived that we just throw it all out; “cleansing the temple” of everything, just to be “safe”. If we were living back in Jesus day, would we have been guilty of throwing Christ out then too, as a baby, just because he didn’t come the way we thought or were programmed to believe? Would we have been like the Pharisee with our small boxed heads of belief and limit God’s ability and wisdom to do something different? Would we have rejected Christ as unclean, and not a King because He wasn’t born within the four walls of our belief?

Who then is God? Us or Him? Who gets the final say on what’s right or wrong? So what do we do? In our uncertainty and unfamiliarity, we throw the “baby” out with the bathwater. Some of us would even like to throw him out of the manger because it doesn’t fit our grid!” As Jesus said, “you pour over all the scriptures yet you reject the one your searching for when He’s standing right in front of you!”

Embracing Mystery and Suprise in Life…Word from Papa God By Amy Meyer

He says, All things have no comparison to following Me. Allow Me as your good shepherd, to lead you always, to green pastures. Let your love and security rest in My provision and faithfulness. Think bigger and keep following Me. Get comfortable with Mystery. Embrace it as a delight, like a surprise, like a gift from Daddy. Part of being childlike and having childlike faith is the pleasure and enjoyment of surprises and mystery. Embrace it. Adults lose their faith and tend to control their environments, due to pain and misunderstandings. Children, on the other hand, embrace surprise and wonder and enjoy its reward. They are drawn towards it and secure with it. Become childlike again in your faith with Me. Allow Me to heal the areas where you thought I wasn’t a good Father…
