If Christ is the great Exchange, How much have we let Christ exchange, in our life? Meaning how much have we allowed Him to replace things in our life? Our thoughts, behaviors, ways, ideas, opinions, actions, benefits, attitudes, abilities, etc… So often we rely on ourselves to do the work! So, we double and triple our efforts to change and be better. But what we miss all the time is that it’s an EXCHANGE… a “giving up” to receive something better.
I was asking the Lord about this the other night… What’s our usual default? We say things like, “WHAT MUST I DO, TO HAVE THIS?! Yup… It’s not a bad question to ask… but too often our motives are to try and accomplish something in our own strength, to support our own sense of value and significance.
This was Papa’s response to me in regards to the above…
He said, Amy, it’s nothing in your own strength( meaning what you can accomplish)… It’s in two things… hunger and surrender. That’s it.
Make your suit (body) available for me to wear…
Make yourself available to Me and I will live and move and have My being in you. All I need is a willing, yielded, vessel. You’ll reap the amazing benefits of having Me in you! I’ll do everything for you, sweetheart. This is where most people miss it! They’re trying to do My job! If they’d just let Me live in them, it would solve most their problems. But most people don’t want to give up control. They want the accolades of men for what they’ve accomplished. Satan wanted accolades too, so watch and guard your heart against this trap. Did My son want accolades? Follow his example. He desired My accolades alone, not men.
it’s not about memorizing tons of scripture. Again, all I’m looking for is a willing vessel to come and let Me live thru them.
Who will let me have My way? Why do My people continue to live their own lives without Me? What an illusion. My promises and word will simply not work apart from Me. I was meant to live in you not apart from you. “Christ in me the hope of glory!” Col. 1:27
Do you really want Me to fully manifest Myself in you? What are you willing to give up…? What will you surrender? It is an exchange in every single area of your life. You must exchange every response for Mine.
This is why it truly is a transformation and this is why most people are missing it, stuck in an old ‘wineskin”. They want both and they can’t have both, hence they have no wine =power because they’ve failed to make the full exchange. Instead, they settle for rips and tears never fully being able to handle let alone hold My power and good wine. They must be willing to receive Me, not just the drink.
People want the drink/ power, but they don’t want Me. To have Me means they have to give up them and they don’t want to do that. The old Adamic seed is still in operation. It is driven by fear and also the desire for what power can offer their flesh man. Let this not be so with you. Who will answer the desires of My heart and echo to Me the desire of theirs, as My son David shared,
“Here’s the one thing I crave from the Father, the one thing I seek above all else: I want the privilege of living with him every moment in his house, finding the sweet loveliness of his face, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace.
I want to live my life so close to him that he takes pleasure in my every prayer. Psalm 27:4 The Passion Translation
That privilege is now ours!
Papa asked, “Am I not your home and are you not mine?”
John 1:14 (mir) The Word became a human being; we are his address; he resides in us!
Eph 1:11 (mir) This is how we fit into God’s picture, Christ is the measure of our portion, we are in Him; invented and defined in Him. God’s blueprint intention is on exhibition in us, everything He accomplishes is inspired by the energy and intent of His affection.
Isn’t that amazing! What a privilege we have to make this great exchange! To “Suit up” in Christ! Everything He is, is now ours. We can make withdraws from Him for whatever we need, in this relationship. It is no longer us trying to muster up enough grace or love or forgiveness to give someone… If we’ve made the exchange we can simply withdraw as much as we need for ourselves or to give to someone else.
Zechariah 4:6 “It’s not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord.
Make the exchange. Surrender everything you possibly can to Him and receive His exchange! The return is endless and the profit insurmountable! Are you really losing or gaining? Selah…
Remember, “Jesus puts the super in your natural” Surrender the Suit and “Suit up” in Christ!
Psalm 16:11 The Passion Translation
11 For you bring me a continual revelation of resurrection life,
the path to the bliss that brings me face-to-face with you.
Gal.2:20 it’s no longer I that live but Christ that lives within me!
Love you guys and hope this encourages you on your journey with God today! – Amy <3
